Guangxi Huanjiang county Gonghao zinc mine exploration

 The prospecting exploration area of Huanjiang county Gonghao zinc mine locates about 32 km in the north west of Huanjiang county, geographical coordinates: longitude 108 ° 07 '- 108 ° 08' 00 \"15\", 25 ° 01 'north latitude 34 \"- 25 ° 02' 30\", covering an area of 3.37 km2. The prospecting exploration area belongs to CHuangshang towns, having a railway through the mining area, there is highway linked between Huanjiang and Jinchengjiang, the transportation is very convenient (figure 1-1).

Through preliminary exploration, the geological characteristics such as the working area formation, structure and magmatic rocks have been identified; Through the surface pit engineering to expose and deep drilling engineering control, the distribution in the surface of the ore bodies, ore body shape, occurrence, thickness, grade and mineral characteristic have been established, the basic information of mineralization enrichment regularity, ore deposit types, causes and the ore-controlling factors and prospecting marks have been obtained.

Through this exploration, two Pb-Zn orebody in the zone had been found.The ore body control length is about 300 m, the thickness is 2.10 ~ 10.86 m, with the grade of Pb 0.1-1.33% and Zn 0.50-3.05%. By preliminary estimate, the total agent for ore resources (332 + 333 + 333) is of 359000 tons, metal resources (332 + 333 + 334): zinc 8595.8 tons.
